Make it a family fun filled day, spend the afternoon enjoying all that Shelburne Farms has to offer, and return
after dusk for an evening of Stargazing through a variety of  telescopes.

Stargazing begins at dusk and ends at 10pm.

Parking and orientation

Please enter Shelburne Farms slowly as it will be very dark. Follow the red line in the above sketch,
if there is available space in the upper parking area park there, if not, drive slowly to the lower parking area.
The Farm is fenced in, enter the farm through the gates as indicated in the sketch and follow
the red glow sticks up the hill to the top. The Telescopes will be located on the far end of the hill top.
When Leaving for the night, the exit road is on the backside of the Gift Shop and Barn.

Tips and Information

Watch your step on the hill, the ground may be uneven in places, use a red LED flashlight or
a flashlight covered in red cellophane, to help you find your way but not ruin the dark adaptation
for those who are viewing through the telescopes.
Dress warmly as October nights tend to get cold and damp.
Porta-Potties are located at the End of the Barn.
